Local Election Results and Impact on Land Development Projects

May 1, 2024

The recent local elections have significant implications for our land development projects. Here's a summary of the outcomes:

Mierzeja Project:

  • Sianów Commune: Mayor Maciej Berlicki will continue his term. He has been supportive of our zoning procedures and remains a positive influence on the project's main area in Sianów.

  • Mielno Commune: A new mayor has been elected. Unlike the previous administration, the new mayor is expected to be more proactive. His agenda includes opening Mielno to the lake and enhancing public investments, such as upgrading walking and biking paths.

Jamno Project:

  • Bedzino Commune: Mrs. Sylwia Halama continues as the mayor. She has been cooperative in our efforts to amend the Studium and Zoning plan, exemplifying strong collaboration.

  • Koszalin City: After 14 years, a new president, Mr. Tomasz Sobieraj, has taken office. A former vice president from Jamno village, Mr. Sobieraj campaigned on developing Koszalin with more green spaces and promoting tourism linked to Jamno Lake and the marina infrastructure.

All newly elected officials, averaging 45 years old, represent a new generation in administration. Notably, only the president of Koszalin is affiliated with a political party (PO), which governs Poland.

These changes signal a promising future for our projects, with continued and potentially enhanced support from local administrations.
